HUD REAC Inspection Updates
HUD has begun a whole-sale review and revamp of the REAC inspection protocols, and these changes will affect Public Housing, Multifamily housing, and even Housing Choice Voucher programs. This e-Briefing will look at the changes to the current Uniform Physical Condition Standard (UPCS) such as the 14-day inspection notice and the survey of carbon monoxide detectors. We will also look into the future and the upcoming new inspection demonstration that will begin implementation of NSPIRE (National Standards for the Physical Inspections of Real Estate). If you operate a Public Housing programs or have recently gone through a RAD conversion, this session will provide a road map of your inspection responsibilities today and moving forward.
